UC8

Vocal group UC8 is UCL Music Society’s newest ensemble. Taking inspiration from groups VOCES8 & the King’s Singers, this octet performs repertoire from all throughout musical history, right up to Barbershop, Folk arrangements, and other contemporary works. UC8 puts on two high-quality concerts each year, alongside performing and recording for other projects including films, plays, singles, and much much more.

Auditions

Every year, the whole group is reauditioned: auditions consist of a prepared piece of the auditonee’s choice, some sight-reading, and some aural tests
